Coaching Philosophy
Confidence comes from reps, details, and belief. Training should be challenging, positive, and clear, with players encouraged to compete and improve.
Local hockey development led by a coach who understands the Vancouver Island hockey path because he lived it.
Coach Isaac Leik grew up playing minor hockey on Vancouver Island and learned early how much the game can shape a young athlete’s confidence, discipline, friendships, and work ethic.
At 16, Isaac began playing Junior Hockey, spending much of his junior career on Vancouver Island before moving away at 17 to Humboldt, Saskatchewan. That experience pushed him to grow as a player and as a person.
Isaac went on to earn a university hockey scholarship and played at Concordia University while completing his bachelor’s degree. Through Central Hockey Development Co., he wants to help develop the next generation of Vancouver Island hockey players.
